The degree in Planning and Management of Policies and Social Services trains professionals specialised in the field of social policies and in coordinating and managing social services. The course has a multidisciplinary approach, and the curriculum primarily focuses on law, economics, and sociology. The main subject areas to be studied relate to public organisation theories, administrative and immigration law, local sociology and the analysis of deviant phenomena, labour law and the psychology of work, economic policy, European planning, and financing for social enterprises. These fields of study allow graduates to acquire managerial skills that can be applied to the world of social work, employment policies, prevention and security policies, and inclusion policies.
