The student experience at LUMSA, which is located in the centre of Rome near Piazza San Pietro, offers a unique experience for many international students. In the 2017-2018 academic year the University welcomed over 300 international students as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program.
LUMSA is also one of the few Italian universities with major international accreditations, which means we can assess and enrol students based on international achievements, such as ACT (American College Testing), GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test), GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). We also accommodate students from universities with which we have Erasmus+ arrangements, or collaborative arrangements for universities outside Europe.
The International Relations Office is the office dedicated to assist and welcome Erasmus Incoming students.
The Centro Linguistico Internazionale e Certificazioni (LUMSA International Language Certification and Centre - CLIC) organizes, each semester, courses in Italian language and culture at various levels, in collaboration with the International Relations Office.
Erasmus Incoming students may apply for accommodation in the student residences near to LUMSA facilities, and we can also assist them in finding private accommodation in Rome, if required. For more information, please go to the LUMSA Servizio Alloggi (accommodation service) page.
